My summer was awesome I had so much fun. The whole summer was fun. I went to California with my cousin to see her grandparents. When we were out there we went to the ocean. I was so scared because last time we were there I went swimming and got pulled all the way out there. But I was about 5 years old and not a very good swimmer. After we went swimming we went walking around to find somewhere to eat. We lost my uncle and we spent about 2 hours trying to look for him. When we found him we saw him eating without us. he was at the one restaurant eating octopus with noddles. it was like spaghetti without the meat...eww...but it didn't taste that way. It was okay.
After we all ate there we went to this one ice-cream shop. My cousins and I ordered Bubble Gum ice-cream. Yup it was cold. Well duh it was ICE-CREAM right. Right well, I had a lot of fun out there in Cali. I also went to Chicago for a Unity Conference. There was so many people out there and that big building. They put us a group of 20 people. There was a guy name Joshua who I met that was also from Tuba City, but was Navajo. We talked and talked, he knew the same people I knew... it was weird. I met so may people from so many places, it was AWESOME!
At the end of the conference we made this play. Everyone made one well just the groups. Most of them were serious, like teen pregnancy, drinking doing drugs, but others were funny problems with relationships, this was the one we did. We made this one funny. Everyone kept laughing though the whole play. We just went out there and did what Joshua (TURBO- his nick name on the play) told us to do. He gave us funny names and really weird parts to play. My nick name was Sweet Cherry (this meant some thing but i forgot... or I don't wanna say) I was his wife and I was the dorky one who didn't know any thing was the problem in this so called relationship. The things he said to me to during the play even I couldn't keep a straight face. They were so funny, they were mostly analogies, that made everyone laugh. But yeah it was fun, interesting people and a lot of weird hobbies. but yup these two things is what made my summer a BLAST! We only stayed out there for two weeks but it only felt like one.
